Patient Zero (2/2)
07/24/11(Sun)00:07 No.27995460>>27995416 "Oh dear, you look awful," said Mrs. Cake, "Why don't you go upstairs to bed, and I'll call-"
McIntosh had seen Fluttershy feed a sick ferret once. The caged ferret was standing calmly next to the mouse, then in an single feral instant it made a merciless and animalistic lunge and then the mouse was dead, twitching in its mouth.
Pinkie grabbed Mrs. Cake and bit into her neck like a ripe juicy apple, in exactly the same manner.
McIntosh slammed his rear hooves into Pinkie Pie's head, crushing her skull. She fell ragdoll to the ground.
Mrs. Cake slumped down and whinnied in pain.
McIntosh looked at the blood smeared across the bakery floor, at Pinkie Pie's corpse, at Mrs. Cake, and felt a hind hoof slip in the blood. He closed his eyes, and slowly walked to the door. "I'll bring help."
He crossed the threshold and stepped into the street. The birds were chirping, the sky was clear, and there was no screaming in the streets. He bolted for the doctor.

"Well," said the doctor, looking at Mrs. Cake's wound, "You've got a chunk of your deep pectorals missing. I'll recommend an immediate transfer by chariot to Canterlot Trauma.
"Oooh, okay dearie," said Mrs. Cake, her eyes wobbling from the sedative. The paramedics lifted her.
"You'll be okay, honey bun," said Mr. Cake, following her out.
The policemare said, "Your story checks out, Mr. McIntosh. You're free to go. I recommend you stop by Doctor Hematite's office for some trauma counseling. I understand the deceased was a friend of your sister?"
McIntosh only nodded. What was he gonna tell AJ? |
