A few days ago one of you was posting this and didn't finish - I would like the rest.

"Okay, so last night I was writing a list of 26 synopses for an alternate Season 2 because no one asked for it. But then a power surge knocked out the power in the house, and lost a lot of them. So I'm going to be rewriting them over the next four hours while I wait for Hobo With a Shotgun's showtime to come up, so I'm gonna repost the ones I had and then make the rest. HOLD ON TO YOUR BUTTS.

Episode 1: Opening credits take a jab at everyone who freaked out about the story suddenly changing irreversibly because Lauren Faust left. Flutterguy, purple cars, and dream sequences are involved. Main story involves Pinkie Pie volunteering to take care of a young exchange student colt from Equestria’s equivalent of Germany, then starts getting drastic when she finds he’s not interested in parties at all. Lesson is about giving people space to open up in their own ways, and not forcing people to do things they aren’t interested in. If Hasbro wants more characters, he’s also a blank flank and will eventually meet and join the CMC as the token boy you always see join these sort of cliques.

Episode 2: Molemen, (Giant Scottish Moles) visit Ponyville on a tunneling vacation to Edinburrow, and while they seem very sociable (but suffering from Mr. Magoo tendencies) they are absolutely ravenous for Applejack’s apples and apple products. While they buy the whole cart, they want more badly, but Applejack says she’s out. The next morning, Applejack finds her whole crop is uprooted and stolen, and with all the tunnels around, they seem to lead to the Molemen stealing them. Of course, it’s partly a misunderstanding, partly an applephiliac stealing a few. CMC help solve the crime in Sherlock checkered garb and bubble pipes. Lesson’s about not jumping to conclusions, or accusing people before you know the whole story. There is a short scene in the episode where Scootaloo is heading down one of the tunnels and hears someone whispering for her, but shrugs it off. (THIS WILL COME INTO IMPORTANCE IN LATER EPISODES)

Episode 3: Rainbow Dash’s parents show up out of nowhere, (ideally voiced by Sandy Duncan and Weird Al Yankovic) on the big day of the Wonderbolts performing in Ponyville. And they are the biggest dorks in the world. Rainbow Dash keeps trying to ‘mitigate the damage’ of them, keeping them on a very basic tour of the town, and keeping them from doing something horrible, like showing off baby pictures or getting out the accordion. (Both of which she can’t stop, the latter ending with Pinkie Pie and Dash’s Dad having an accordion duel) She eventually snaps at them before heading to the performance, but feels bad and heads back to apologize, only to find out that not only does Ponyville think they’re cool, but Soarin’ used to go to the same fraternity with Dash’s Dad (Chugster?) and the Wonderbolts agree to let her try out in a few months in their training grounds. Lesson is about how strong bonds with your friends and family, and how sometimes what you perceive of others isn’t universal.

Episode 4: Rarity, following a complex amount of orders, is forced to create several dozen dresses in far too short a time. However, she discovers a new type of magic memory cloth through experimentation, and is able to create multiple dresses over time through making the cloth design itself. However, multiple changes and new orders cause the fabric to turn into a sentient rag monster that begins stitching together everything in Ponyville, and Ponyville has to work together to defeat it. Lesson is that while sometimes the easiest solution is the best one, it isn’t always the case.

Episode 5: Fluttershy’s orderly life gets shaken when a gang of raccoons bust into her tree-house and start messing with it. Her kind demeanor still doesn’t put up with it for long, and she employs the help of the other five to work on helping to get rid of them. Some of the ponies feel that it’ll be just desserts for it, but Fluttershy rushes in and helps them out anyway. The raccoons feel sorry about their actions, and in return, work to help rebuild her house and repair the damage they did. Lesson is about, while not accepting being bossed around by others, forgiveness is a much more powerful tool in the end than vengeance or retribution, and can lead to better things.

Episode 6: Twilight Sparkle and Spike head over to Zecora’s house in the woods for help with a more complex potion involving magical enhancement (THIS WILL COME INTO IMPORTANCE IN LATER EPISODES) and Spike becomes lost in the Woods with Owloysius and end up in a caravan of ponies in a new settlement, and encounter a young earth pony by the name of Marigold. Together they end up collaborating and fighting back a rampaging Hydra from a certain swamp nearby, after Marigold unites the new settlers to fight against it, and eventually helping her lead them to settle down and establish a town. Spike tells Marigold he has to go back, but decides to bring Twilight Sparkle along with him for the next time as well. He leaves with Owloysius, but then loses the way back to her town, despite following the same path. He can’t understand why, and they head back to Ponyville, where the Mayor is now opening a time capsule from 300 years ago, when the town was founded. As they open it, the Mayor finds a letter addressed to Spike, from the founder of Ponyville, Marigold. He tells her that she feels sad he couldn’t come back to Ponyville for whatever reason, but hopes that someday, he’ll come back and see how far it’s come, even if she’s gone. She says she wasn’t mad, as friendships are not about how long they last, but the quality of the time spent with them, which Twilight Sparkle sends off to Celestia. The episode ends with a shot of an old painting, made by Marigold, of a large purple dragon soaring through the sky.

Episode 7:. The main gang take a trip to Manehattan to celebrate the new year at Aunt Orange’s pad, who Applejack is still on good terms with, despite her ‘final decision on company’. The party goes well, until the party is visited by Celestia, and finally, Luna.
The main six are sort of on edge about her visiting, but they find she legitimately has changed, and is actually the more nervous one about opening up. At the new year, most of the Ponies want to go to bed, sort of disappointing Luna, but the gang convince everyone to stay up the whole night through until the morning. Lesson is about how the shame about the past can eat away at some inside, but once out in the open, subsides quickly, and friends and happiness can grow in its place. We find out the next morning once everyone has gone to sleep that Luna is the actual one getting the benefit from all the findings, as Celestia was using it to teach Luna to reacquaint with Pony society. Another part is revealed that powerful emotions can grow and shape ponies more than normal creatures, especially negative emotions like jealousy, due to their magical affinity, and makes ponies more susceptible to dark ambitions. (THIS WILL COME INTO IMPORTANCE IN LATER EPISODES)

So, what if the Egg Test that Twilight had to do was a False Crucible?

Being able to hatch an egg with magic doesn't require four other ponies taking notes, and especially not with your parents watching. And if to get into the academy you had to hatch a Dragon, a creature that has been shown to have either indifference, hatred for, or ecological destruction OF Ponies, what would be done with the baby dragons? They surely wouldn't just release them back into the wild.

What if, instead, dragon eggs are impervious to magical abilities anyway, or maybe not even an egg, but a replica, and the ACTUAL test was 'how will a unicorn react to a situation where her magic couldn't help him or her?' Based on what they try, or if they actually get angry and HURT the Egg, would determine wether they got in or not, and if they understood the limits of magic.

It would also bring a MUCH bigger reason as to why Celestia went 'WOAH hah hah hey why don't I just watch over this here pony for you guys' if all she really did was pass the test. If she could not only break open the egg but ALSO make it grow to an adult size, or if it wasn't even real, GIVE IT LIFE AS WELL, then Celestia has all the more reason to keep this fount of real power under her care and control, before she REALLY messes up something.

She had looked over to the Pegasus-pony player Cloud Kicker, who rolled for her once (unimaginatively named) High Priestess Twilight Sparkle, now Princess Twilight Sparkle, a 1 on the dice. What was suppose to be a simple sunrise plunged the game into a never-ending abyss of shadow. The other players, Lyra and BonBon, Derpy Hooves, Berry Punch and Colgate, looked on in disbelief and disappointment. Cloud Kicker herself made a face only she could make.

"You can roll again to rectify this error." Catacomb Keeper Carrot Top continued blankly.

"I think I'll pass." Cloud Kicker weakly replied, "Kinda liked the night more anyway."

The board game of Catacombs & Creatures continued, despite the setback of eternal darkness caused by Cloud Kicker. For the other players, Lyra's and BonBon's characters (a Bard and a Healer respectively) were grouped together, well out of harm's way. Derpy Hooves' Warrior, however, did not fair much better, SOMEHOW finding her way into a pit of Pygmy Raptors, when she had first tried to pick a lock with her axe. Berry Punch's Rogue was in a good situation; there was a locked treasure chest guarded by a twin-headed ogre mage, but with eternal night thrusted upon the game, it gave her the distinct advantage.

"Alright," began Berry Punch with her roll, "I'm going to go ahead and see what's inside of that treasure chest. Surely, it must valuable enough for an ogre to guard it."

"Roll a 13 or higher to unlock the treasure chest without alerting the ogre." Catacomb Keeper Carrot Top said, "Roll a 20 and you'll get something else extra." Berry Punch took the 20-sided dice between her hooves, giving it a good shake and then tossed it onto the playing board.

It rolled a 20.

"Sweet!" Berry Punch cheered, "I got the loot and some extra! This calls for a celebration!" In an instant, Berry Punch procured a bottle of red wine from behind her back, already removing the cap from the top. Before she could take a gulp of alcohol, however, her blue-hued friend, Colgate, who had remained absent from the group's gaming, placed a firm hoof on the alcoholic's shoulder and gave her a disapproving look. Berry Punch gave her "protector" a kick-puppy look before setting the bottle onto the ground.

"Perhaps later..." Berry Punch mused to herself.

"Yeah," Colgate replied, "later."

"Ok... uh... roll a 2 or higher and you get eaten by the raptors." Derpy nodded her head, taking the dice between her hooves, giving it a good shake and tossed it onto the playing board. The 20-sided dice continued to roll as all eyes became glued to the spinning object... especially Derpy's, whose right-eye ever so slowly veered off to the right... as if intentionally. As if on que, the rolling dice stopped dead in it's tracks

The dice landed on 1.

"Yay! Snake-eyes!" Derpy cheered loudly as the others stared at the outcome in shock.

"Uh..." Carrot Top stumbled over her words, "I guess the raptors decided you were of no interest and attacked themselves, killing them all. You have won the loot of the room." This caught the attention of Derpy, who had just finished cheering her dumb luck.

"Wha? But... but that be stealing! That treasure must belong to someone else! I'll pass." The other players, taking note of Derpy's apparent absent-mindedness, groaned. Someone of them facehoofing themselves in frustration.

BonBon, who had to bear witness to most of the eccentricities of the group and their characters' actions, was growing ever tired by the minutes, evident by her clenched eyes, gritting teeth and her head resting on one of her hooves. Being a pony who is usually sweet and kindhearted to those around her, BonBon's current mood was sure to make a pony surprised... especially to her friend, Lyra, who had taken notice to BonBon's frustrations.

"What's the matter, BonBon?" Lyra asked, concern strong in her voice.

"I still can't believe we spend our days playing this game." BonBon groaned miserably, "It wouldn't be so bad... if the others weren't so... strange with playing the game. I want something fun and great stuff like go outdoors, listen to music, whatever! It'd be better than being stuck in here!" BonBon slammed her head onto the table with a dull thud. BonBon felt like she wanted to cry, when a reassuring hoof fell onto her shoulder. BonBon looked up to see Lyra had her hoof on her friend's shoulder.

"It isn't all that bad." Lyra spoke, "Sure, we all have our quirks and such, but that's what makes us special and unique; we all have something new to bring to the table. Besides, being and playing with friends is always fun to do, even if we're not always doing things that may be enjoyable... especially when alone." She pointed towards the other players, who were generally having fun with their role-playing, either getting out of or into trouble wherever they went. They talked. They laughed. They were having a good time. A small smile crept onto BonBon's face, her heart warming up to the scene before her.

"I guess it isn't so bad." BonBon concluded, "I guess one can have fun with friends, even when they things they do aren't always as fun. Still, let's do something else that we can all agree on next week, huh?"

Lyra brought her snout right up to BonBon's and nuzzled it affectionately: "Deal."

The full moon shone over Ponyville's cemetery. A young unicorn filly named Tootsie Flute quietly wept on one grave. The headstone read Bon Bon. She was this filly's mother, who had recently died in a carriage accident.

The young pony lifted her head to see a dark gray dragon standing over her. He wore on his head a top hat and on his face glasses and a perpetual, toothy grin.

Tootsie Flute's tears dried. "R-really, mister? Thank you so much!"

The chubby dragon rolled a cart out from behind him. On the cart was a metal pony skeleton. "Now," explained the dragon, "All you have to do to bring Bon Bon back is say her name. Do that and your mother's soul will merge with this skeleton."

Tootsie followed his orders. After calling her mother's name, lightning engulfed the skeleton and a thin streak weaved "Bon Bon" in cursive letters.

"M-mommy? Is that you?" said Tootsie Flute, concerned.

"Tootsie!" yelled Bon Bon, "What have you done? What am I?"

Tootsie Flute was shocked and confused. The dragon spoke up. "Bon Bon, you are now an Akuma, my slave, thanks to your daughter. Now, kill her and wear her skin as your own."

Tootsie Flute was now horrified. "Mommy, wait! Stop! MOMMY!!"
The poor filly's words drowned into a bloodcurdling scream as Bon Bon's sword-like arm staked Tootsie into the ground. Blood splattered on the grave and on the mysterious dragon. The machine entered the little pony's throat and stood up when it was completely inside the body.

"So Akuma creating works in this world too," chuckled the dragon deviously, as he rubbed his hand on his bloodstained belly and licked the blood off his claws. "Then I guess we have some work to do."
