Ok, so as a draw friend, I won't lie to you guys. There have been times where I didn't feel like drawing, AT ALL, but the thing is, you should only draw when you feel like it. If you force yourself, nothing good will come out of it.
Ok, with that out of the way... I know I'll sound like a major hypocrite, but it sounds like you guys are just being lazy, or you're not motivated to draw because you aren't seeing any results. Sometimes, I'm not motivated to draw for stupid reasons: I'm too tired, I'm hungry, I'd rather play a game or something, etc. But if you guys really want to get better, you have to get off your flanks and draw sometime. It's ok to take drawing breaks, but don't space them out too much, and don't over draw either. I know I said don't force yourself to draw, but it seems like you just need to get your stuff together, simple as that. I make it a point to draw AT LEAST every other day. I do my best to see if I can't draw EVER day, but life gets in the way sometimes. You have to make the time sometimes though. Just do it brony(ies), if you just do it, you'll be drawing ponies in no time. You'll never get better if you don't practice. |
