Dash sees the princess's horn glow malevolently and slams into a wall of guards behind her. She shakes her heard, rears back and charges again, the impact throwing aside more guards and clears a path for her out of the palace. They always underestimate her, she thinks.
"Highness! What is the meaning- " begins Twilight again.
"Shush, my beloved pupil" coos Celestia "I'll tell you all about when you wake up" as Twilight crumples to the floor.
Dash is speeding away from the palace, fear lending her strength, the pain from her injuries almost forgotten. The fuel gauge for the flux capacitor is reading empty.
She has an idea. She already has full knowledge of the past. Now if she were to appear 1100 years back - further than the initial trip, maybe she can change things for the better, before that horrible mess with Luna.
She mentally kicks herself, "I should have gone back then instead of coming forward. Now I've put Twilight and all my friends in danger."
To Cloudsdale for fuel, then. But they would be waiting for her. Nevermind, she thinks, I can outrun everyone else. I just have to be quick, and maybe grab some stims and medpacks for my injuries. If I'm really lucky, word hasn't even gotten out yet.
Dash is so absorbed in her thoughts she fails to notice the four tiny specks coming up behind her.
Her heart nearly stops when she finally steals a look back.
