Ok, I succumbed to the hype and watched My Little Pony. Animation is really nice, I had to turn down the volume of theme song, because I was quite ashamed of watching cartoon for little girls and it was really extremely sweet.

Nerdy pony, make some friends. Like she is interested in having them. But getting out of your comfy zone is sure way to change, be it for better or for worse, good message for little girls. Farmer pony and cute little pony seemed fine, although I perceived it as conditioning girls for emotional blackmailing. Be cute enough and you can persuade anyone to do what you want with sad face and tears. But the other friends? The flying pony is lazy show-off who is only making fun of her. The fashion one wants to be her friend only because she is pony from big city, not because of her personality. The silent pony wants to befriend only her dragon. And the Pinky one throws a mess party in her place, I guess she didn't have to do the cleaning.
Now villain filly, quite demonic, let show those ponies who is the boss! Everyone following nerdy pony, smart choice. Flying pony, you are jerk, discrediting her as spy. I don't see honesty in the Applejacking pony 'Let go and fall', but whatever. Seriously, the villain couldn't do anything better than cutting mustache and making illusion of evil trees? Although flying pony fixed his reputation for his bad attitude by making deadpan joke and refusing following his dream.

Quite lame final battle, but still I guess it's the best show you can get for target viewers. Sorry guys, I don't get why it's so popular on /co/, but my genitals didn't shrink and I admit if it had more Pinky (without singing) and sarcastic flying pony, or if I had more alcohol in my blood, it could be watchable.
