Quickfic - The Stranger From Beyond (7/7)

Pinkie looked around. The room was a half-round, matching the shape of the building. The windows looked out over the town square.
The wall between the two upstairs rooms had a big stone fireplace in the center, and a chimney above it. The other side of the wall must have one too, she reasoned, leading into the tall chimney set right in the middle of the round building.
There was also a bed, a mirror on a table, and a cabinet for whatever it is ponies wear.
She turned back to the couple. "Thank you all so very much," she said, with tears welling up. "You're so kind to me, taking in a stranger like this all in one morning. I feel right at home!"
Cup glanced at Carrot. She was right; even for ponies, this was unusually trusting. But then she forgot what she was thinking. "Oh, don't worry, Pinkie, you just have that kind of face."
A bell rang downstairs. "Well, back to work," said Carrot, and they dashed down the stairs.
Pinkie Pie walked over to the mirror and gazed at her reflection. "Still not ginger," she muttered.
