-start >interest, genuine enjoyment and fascination. it feels odd, by not obsessive -phase two >rewatching episodes, near end of the series. Alright, this is too much, whenever im not watching im thinking about it, these threads more serve as a blanket of ponies than anything else. No real discussion is needed, just being with ponies is sufficient. slightly scary -phase 3 >docile participation. You are regular in threads, you enjoy it, but not as much as the start. It feels more like routine now, but no less immersed. You can sense your obsession waning, but that isnt necessarily bad. You still exhibit it, but less extremely -inbetween stages 3-4 you begin to stop watching ponies, until it is rare you actually watch an ep. -stage 4 >frustration, the threads seem unworthy of the show, and the people faggots. The other members of the fandom irritate you, and the other /co/lts seem to be immature fucks who just argue. You are exactly the same, but you are right and they are not -stage 5 (most of us) >you are so tired of this, why don't I leave? It's because you are too acclimatized to it. It'd be breaking routine, and asspies love nothing more than routine -stage 6/7 >spending time away more and more, until you can leave threads for whole stretches. Usually a thread is left open in browser, but hardly visited.
>You don't really need to see ponies, the threads. You still participate. But not nearly as vocally. You have mostly grown out of it. I imagine we will all revert to phase 3, early 4 when season 2 starts |
