If you get furry whyboners, it's a fetish like foot-licking, spanking, or ballgags: it adds spice.
If you have a dream about being fully or partially transformed into an animal, such as a centaur or Donald Duck, and wake up happy, then don't like how you look in the mirror anymore, it's something psychological that goes deeper than a fetish. It's a body dysphoria.
Body dysphorias are responsible for otherkin, furries, and the transgendered. That's why one out of three furry lifestylers is also transgendered.
That's right, if there was a scientific or magical procedure to put people in "the right body," furries would be right there alongside M2F and F2Ms.
(It's important to note that not all furries are body dysphoric. Xenophilia, a fascination with nonhuman sentients, is responsible for a large portion, the kind of "classic" furry fan who liked Howard The Duck, Cerebus, and now Friendship Is Magic.) |
