(Fanart/fandom art, fetish, whatever)
That and anyone who has the capacity to be a good critic is drowned out by a sea of sycopants and/or trollish haters, so the artists learn to ignore all non-positive criticism. Everyone involved is generally a teenager or has the mind of one, which doesn't help things at all.
...come to think of it, I pretty much just described fanfiction.net, and really any other major art/writing based site on the internet. |
