 What would you think of the show taking a more chaotic approach to each new episode? I'm not talking full blown 'What the fuck is even happening anymore' kind of chaotic, but more unpredictability in the progression of the storyline or character reactions.
Imagine; one of the ponies, like Twilight, ends up obtaining a joke book with absolutely horrendous puns in it she found the book in the library after Spike told her she needs to incorporate some more humor into her conversations. She ends up going around town and spouting off these really bad jokes, making each of the ponies behave in a sporadic, nearly retarded fashion. For instance, the CMC would just start doing this. Rarity would kick Twilight out of the boutique and just stare into space, muttering something to herself, not sure how in the hell to respond to such levels of stupidity. All the while, Twilight finds each joke hilarious, trotting out gleefully to victimize another unwitting pony with her groaner puns.
As long as it tied in a moral and followed the theme of the show, would retardation like this be acceptable? What do you think? |
