I don't imagine that it'll change -too- drastically - After all, for all the internet following and adult fans, the MLP franchise has always been and continues to be primarily marketed toward children. As such, they can't really throw anything -too- overtly filthy or nonsensical in there - They're already intentionally throwing in Derpy Hooves; and a few other nods/references that the adult fans would appreciate could also be acceptable. It's not like they're going to remove the S1 team and replace it with moneygrubbing executives and focus groups - It's most likely going to remain much the same, for the most part.
On the other hand, since Faust has stepped down from Executive Producer, and they've apparently been given more creative freedom, they could just end up trying too hard to pander to the adult audience, and just make it look contrived and silly.
But, then again, those same things could produce something -amazing-. |
