I would be interested to see where that would go. The whole spike rarity relationship thing has yet to be really explored in depth.

I personally think it would go like: rarity is initially annoyed with him and his naivety due to being younger, but then he grows on her a bit. She gets to see a side of him she didn't before, and they become closer friends. Which either leads spike to move on with his obsession or just leaves him more frustrated for being friend zoned.
