A few month ago I was watching the news about stories about the 150th anniversary of the start of the US Civil War. The Ken Burns documentary had recently aired and I rewatched it. The news story is about historical recreationists, and their attempts to recreation a battlefield as accurately as possible. It showed them marching, and they looked nothing like the historical photos. Why? Because they were all a bunch of lardasses. The actual Civil War soldiers were beanpoles. All they ate was hardtack and egg pone.

Then it hit me. These guys aren't really any different than furries. Or anybody else who wants to dress up in costume, organize, and pretend they're something they're not. Furries. Trekkies. I tried that already, but 4chan x doesn't have auto-reload for the captcha and it takes you to quotes instead of opening the posts below them if they're made after you open the page. I have tried like a dozen and a half different combinations with like six or seven scripts. Inline quoting and opening replies below them is my absolute favorite script mechanic, and it's pretty much useless on this browser. Sometimes quick reply on 4chan Plus breaks the page and forces me to refresh.
