Rainbow Dash should talk a big game but end up a little skiddish, as long as she's not the lead. If she's the lead then her confidence should only increase throughout. Rarity can go any number of ways. Pinkie Pie is the most malleable of the characters.

Also, it never hurts to humanize. But anthro should ALWAYS be avoided.
