“Spend time with you!?” Applejack couldn’t believe what she was hearing. “Ya’ll got some nerve callin’ me selfish when ya’ll made that dress just so you could make me into somethin’ I’m not!”

“I made you that dress because I love you!” Rarity’s words boomed throughout the boutique.

Both of them stared at each other with fire in their eyes and bated breath. Applejack grit her teeth and here eyes winced.

“You...” she put her hooves to her head and threw them into the air. “I can’t believe...of all the...ugh!”

Applejack lunged at Rarity and wrapped herself around the other pony, falling to the floor in a flurry of kisses that silenced any possible continuation of their argument.

I just REALLY don't care what happened to the mane cast all that much. This wasn't their story or world anymore. I'd find glimpses of them comforting and bittersweet and I loved ghoul Derpy.
