I don't really think there's any deep psychology to it, it's just a fun, lighthearted show that's fun to watch and fun to talk and joke about and we were all surprised at the quality of the show; most girls' shows don't seem to have a lot of thought put into them, with bland characters having tea parties and fashion shows with expressions that range from "happy" to "sad" - you need only look at Strawberry Shortcake, which airs right before MLP, for evidence of that
Obviously it isn't for everyone, but most of the people who come in here and insult us have obviously never even given it a try because it appears girly, and that's quite upsetting. I've seen people come in here and say that they watched a few episodes of the show and didn't like it much, and that's just fine, everyone has different tastes and contrary to what many people believe, giving the show a try doesn't instantly suck everyone in and make them part of "the herd", I think that idea of addiction puts a lot of people off. |
