06/11/11(Sat)12:41 No.26741687>>26741494 "Well, ah," Rarity stammered, trying to think of any reason to keep Mac around for the next few hours. "What exactly is it you need to shop for? I may have just what you need inside."
She motioned over to her store with her right hoof. Mac slowed, then stopped, then slowly craned his neck around to get a look at whatever it was Rarity was pointing at. He looked the building up and down.
"Mm, don't think a place like that could have what I'm in need of, but thank ya kindly."
He moseyed along. Rarity was frozen in her tracks. He was a tough nut to crack, that was certain. She racked her brain once again, in a panic now. Her mind hadn't caught up with her mouth by the time she decided to try again.
"Macintosh!" she shouted from behind him, many yards now seperating the two of them. He turned around and looked her in the eyes, confused. Rarity looked at the ground, scrunched her eyelids, bit her lip... and finally, after a long silence, exhaled in defeat.
"Nevermind."
Mac gave her a polite nod and made towards the center of town. Rarity could only watch him for a minute or two before she retreated back into her boutique, shaking her head the whole way. |
