Well the fact that the three (arguably) top artists in this fandom are all almost exclusively porn artists, and are all doing on-model porn is... Confusing to me.

I don't think ANYBODY in this fandom got into this show because they saw great potential in sexualizing these characters, or because they were sexually attracted to them. Yeah, they've gotta maintain status quo. Given that stipulation though, I think they do a pretty good job showing character growth through the series. You can really tell the difference between early-episode Fluttershy and later-episode Fluttershy, in particular.

Which is good, because early-episode Fluttershy was boring as fuck.

Good job, sir! It's definitely a good start for you working on heads in a non-profile angle, and more dynamic bodies. The foreshortening on the top left unicorn's hoof is particularly nice. The angle and clear planes on the legs of the... ah... well, the asshole pony? are really great too (if a bit long in the thigh.)

The standalone leg studies are a bit more awkward the the ones attached to bodies, especially the one that is bent. The lack of weight on it could possibly be fixed with a little overlap crease on the front of the bend, perhaps?

The MLP ponies have big heads. They're huge bobbleheaded creatures. Part of the reason I say “forget it” to the show style is because I cannot bear to draw those ridiculously huge heads with huge eyes that are so disproportionate to the bodies. Because of this, I'm not entirely sure WHAT the proper proportion is for mlp heads versus bodies, but I think yours are a bit too large. Perhaps try making the base circle for the heads around the same size as (or a bit larger than) the rump circle?

You're doing very well with the head angles I think, and its very brave of you to try and draw one of the ponies looking up. Looking up is usually a pretty difficult angle to deal with. Remember that you're going to be looking at the under side of the jaw. We would see more of the bottom of the jaw and the face would be all.... squished up. Something you can do is grab a ball (or an egg) and draw a face on it and tilt it up and down. It wont help you with adding things like a snout, but you'll get a good grasp on the features shifting. (I just did it to test and make sure this wasn't bad advice. Someone is going to eat that egg tomorrow and wonder why on earth I drew on it.)

You're doing good, son. I think you do a great job of adding personality to your sketches, and you've improved by leaps and bounds already. Keep going!

The answer is definitely NOTHING has really changed in the several weeks since the series has ended. Basically what the threads have been like for months between days episodes are aired.
