I'm greeted by Pinkie Pie facing some realistic degree of hardship and unrequited love. A couple of things I realized, which might come up in future episodes.

- Pinkie Pie is the only pony in Ponyville who knew what Parasprites were, and how to get rid of them. Since its not likely she's much of a reader, it seems very likely to me that she has traveled in her life, and actually encountered them before. In the circus.

- Sweetie Belle knew the whole "break a leg" thing, so perhaps she's been in, or around, a stage before. If this is the case, perhaps there's a good reason for her not wanting to sing in front of a crowd.
