It wasn't funny the first time someone put it in a comic about Luna being from the moon. It wasn't funny the 38th time someone put it in a comic about Luna being from the moon. It still isn't funny. It wasn't even that funny in the game. It was a one-off joke. It's not even worth referencing. There is absolutely nothing to glean out of this joke. I'm almost positive that Valve went out of their way to not put anything horrible like "The cake is a lie" in Portal 2, and retards still manage to find something horribly unfunny to run into the ground. Yes, I get that the moon is in space. That doesn't make the space ball funny. No, lampshading that it's a blatant reference doesn't make it funny or acceptable or clever or anything at all actually.
