05/25/11(Wed)04:57 No.26238913>>26238837 In an actual battle, yeah, trixie might have a chance through being, well, tricky, rather than overpowering her through brute force. However, during the ursa battle, trixie tied a rope around it and hit it with lightning - stronger versions of two tricks she'd already done, heavily implying she lacks the versitility Twilight has, and pretty much stating she lacks the raw power. If Twilight's plan had have been particularly complex, the extra time for planning could have made all the difference, but there's really not much any creature could do against being lifted helplessly into the air. The other steps of the plan seemed to be more about avoiding hurting it than getting rid of it. The Hydra... yeah, twilight was pretty stupid that day, she even forgot she could teleport, and the cockatrice wouldn't really give her time to react at all, so aren't really decent indicators of ability. Of course, it's not a fair contest, like Celestia said, Twilight is the strongest unicorn she's ever seen. In a fair duel there wouldn't even be a contest, though obviously all the magic in the world can't help against somebody sneaking up behind you with a 2x4. |
