I enjoyed the pilot quite a lot. In fact, I fell in love with the series from just the pilot, but it IS stylistically different from the rest of the show, and gives some of the more tentative new folks the wrong idea about what it is we're talking about.

I had a couple of RL friends who felt it was too childish to watch based on the pilot, and it took them months to try a third ep and realize it was great. I told them to at least watch The Nigger Episode.

Three is out of order. It should have been episode 18-20, introducing the final plot arc, then all the episodes relating to the gala would come after that.

It should have got pilot, seasonal getting to know you eps, more adventurous eps, CMC eps, Gala eps.
