05/22/11(Sun)15:54 No.26159727"Consarn it Chantenay, ya low-down hay thief!" hollered Applejack, shaking her hoof at her neighbor as she marched out of the outhouse. "That there's mah property, and y'all know that."
Chantenay Carrot, sitting astride her new hoof-pedaled hay-mower, pretended not to hear over the noise of the swiftly-spinning blades and rollers. Instead, she watched her path in almost gleeful disdain.
Applejack marched over to the house and called out, "McIntosh, git over there and show her what fer."
For such a big stallion, Big McIntosh was surprisingly spry. As he left, Applejack went in. "Ah'm sorry, Twi. Neighbor trouble. You were sayin' somethin' 'bout Pinkie Pie?"
Twilight Sparkle, her tongue hanging out of her head, nodded. "ilk?" she asked, pleadingly. Applejack poured her some more milk, which Twilight gulped down quickly. She swished the last swallow around her mouth until her face showed visible signs of relief.
"Thanks, Applejack. Pinkie Pie found a recipe for chili, and she's going nuts with the spices. She's adding who-knows-what to that concoction, and it's worse than that hot sauce she likes on everything."
"Well," said Applejack, lifting her left hind leg and setting it back down again, "I could go over there with a couple'a barrels'a milk, soothe some tongues and make some sales..."
"APPLEJACK! TWILIGHT!" hollered Big McIntosh from the field. "HELP!" |
