The very first thread about Faust taking a backseat in production, I finally said 'fuck it, there has to be something to this is everybody is freaking out about the main person leaving'.
I got through first episode's teaser and opening song, closed the youtube window, and came back to /co/, saying basically that while I liked the style, I didn't think I could watch something that spent thirty seconds screaming 'this is intended for somebody half your age, with genitals inverse to yours'.
/co/ said 'that's cool if you don't like it, but maybe you should give it another shot because there are lots of shows with terrible opening songs.' What got me here wasn't what they said, but the fact that they didn't just immediately call me a faggot and say 'fine, leave', so I gave it another shot, marathoned it, and here we are now.

I wouldn't say you're particularly unqualified, but I never see you in these threads so I didn't think you had much basis for comparing the more recent ones with the first few. I don't either, for the record, and now that I actually think about it (one of my main flaws is I don't do that first), you could've been part of every thread from the first announcement of the show up to the last one before Faust left, and I wouldn't even know it. |
