So, did anyone catch the latest Dan vs? This time it was Elise's Parents (voiced by the parents on Family Ties).

They're thinking about moving to town and opening a cupcake store, because her dad owns a chain of cupcake stores. So Dan takes it upon himself to make them leave as soon as possible. (Elise and Chris are okay with this, because they don't like them either.)

So Dan comes up with this elaborate scheme to tape-record Elise's dad Don talking about his plans for the store, and then edit the audio to make him sound like a new mob boss coming to town.

He cuts it together amazingly well. The only exception is that he can't get Don to say kill or something similar in casual conversation.

So he uses the word "cupcake" as the new Mafia euphemism for "kill." I paused the DVR and went laughing around the room like a madman.

And later in the episode, the local mob boss does indeed use the word "cupcake" as a euphemism for kill.

And also, some people might disagree with this, but I'd advise you to consider tracing once in a while. It's one of the best ways to memorize the contours of line work, and works best when done repetitively. Just don't make a habit of it or turn it into a crutch.

And this goes without saying, but don't claim a traced piece as your own. Obviously.

I start off with the 2 body circles (I almost always do them too large) followed by the head, then I draw skeleton legs after that I start thickening the back legs and rump, then usually the belly and front.
For the head I do that crosshair thing (I have a lot of trouble with that still, figuring out where they look that is) and then just start adding shit to it (I cant draw eyes yet though)
