The planetoid he stood upon was orbiting a black hole inside the event horizon.
He turned to face Selene. "So your sun is a burning gas giant orbited by your planetoid, in tidal lock with your moon. I see. Lovely system. And you're the key, you and your sister have the strength to rotate your world to make sure it doesn't get too cold on one side or too warm on the other.
