Okay, so Equestria is built on a world of rules that the weather patterns are completely controlled by hand, including the sun, the stars and the moon.
Why?
I mean, sure, maybe deities that control the most powerful things in the sky would make sense in a world of Gods, but what kind of a place is it where everything has to be done by hand or magic?
Because they're replacements for the originals. There used to be weather, there used to be air currents, the sun and the moon rose and set without anyone's control, and everything was normal.
Then HE came. The Hungry King. He rose one day and swallowed everything is his path, not just animals or trees, but the earth, the water, the air, the sky, the sun and the moon itself fed him, for the King's powers were as boundless as his hunger. Then, the last two Alicorns, the creatures that lived in this older world, sealed him away in another realm. They rebuilt the land with magic and became the Gods of the new land of Equestria.
But the King would not be silenced. He whispers through the cracks of this world, for anyone who will listen. His hunger drives him, but he is patient too. His servants have spread everywhere, all working against the Princesses, to break the six seals of his imprisonment. The Kindess shall give way to Hatred The Laughter shall give way to Terror The Generosity shall give way to Desire The Honesty shall give way to Lies The Loyalty shall give way to Betrayal And the Magic shall be snuffed out in its Brightest Moment
Then The Hungry King will return, and his appetite shall be sated with the blood of Gods. |
