So in the last thread, I was fruitlessly trying to promote a discussion of Celestia's personal life and political ambitions, mainly because I'm writing this:

Celestia is unmarried and does not appear to be courting. The reasons may be varied, and may include but are not limited to:
She is not interested in sex due to a chemical condition.
There are no immortal males available, and she does not want to create one because creating immortals is creating permanent rivals. She could marry a submissive male, but she might not find a femine stallion too attractive.
She's actually grooming Twlight to be her future life partner because she has the potential, which could be a nifty shipping fic some day (maybe I'll put something together some afternoon).

There was also discussion of Celestia's relationships with friends and family, namely that distance is an artifact of power. It's lonely at the top, but being separated from your subjects allows you to appear omniscient. Hence the reason Celestia seems aloof and is always running off during the show. Does she want friends? Maybe, but she can't have any if she wants to rule for another thousand years. Friends see through your illusions and facades, and they reveal your weaknesses.

Celestia has kind of become the most interesting character in the show for me.

Eh, sounds good, ill see if i can do something like that, but to be honest i just basically work in 4 layers, the rough sketch layer, a more refined sketch layer on top of the first, a rough color one on the bottom of them with the basic color scheme and lastly the top layer in wich i paint over all of em.

Regarding the settings, i just dick around with persistence, density, blending and dilution settings of the basic set of brushes my version of sai came with.

Granny Smith finally catches on and gets apeshit mad at the idea of her grandson engaging into a ruffian's activity, so she dashes to Manehattan to stop Big Macintosh during his biggest fight ever. Applejack, Applebloom and Twilight try to arrive there before Granny to avoid a shitstorm, but the 4 arrive at the boxing stadium at the same time, just in time to see how the champ is absolutely DEMOLISHING Big Macintosh.
What could happen then?

A)- Big Macintosh loses.
B) Big Macintosh somehow manages to win.
C) Granny Smith beats the everliving shit out from the champion and then drags Big Macintosh out by an ear, muttering comments about the ass whipping she's gonna give to him once they are back home.
