To conclude Fluttershy plays a large part in the lives of all. It questions, influences the influencers, and it brings the best out in people.

Now, that's unfair.

The problem with the CMC is that the basically have one shtick--they want to find their cutie marks. That's fine for a short segment, or even a single episode, but when you essentially have four episodes all devoted to the same general plot, it starts to get a little...stretched.

If their personalities (and despite what the haters say, they DO have personalities) informed their actions in the way that the mane cast's personalities do, then they'd be more interesting and more viable as secondary characters. But instead, every episode to date featuring them has focused entirely on their single-minded pursuit of their cutie marks. And frankly, that gets boring pretty fast.

An essay on suicide

'Brilliant', 'Quite Good', 'What?', these are just some of the comments made recently in the press regarding suicide. I find my self constantly drawn back to the subject of suicide. While it has been acknowledged that it has an important part to play in the development of man, suicide is not given the credit if deserves for inspiring many of the worlds famous painters. Often it is seen as both a help and a hinderence to so called 'babies', obviously. Complex though it is I shall now attempt to provide an exaustive report on suicide and its numerous 'industries'.

Social Factors

Society is a simple word with a very complex definition. The immortal and indispensable phrase ‘honesty is the best policy’ [1], contrary to my learned colleague Sir George Allen’s recent publication ‘Into the eye of , could not have been referring to eighteenth century beliefs regarding society. More a melody to societies dysfunctions than a parody of the self, suicide irons out misconceptions from our consciousness.

Nothing represents every day life better than suicide, and I mean nothing. It breaks the mould, shattering man's misunderstanding of man.

Is suicide politically correct, in every sense? Each man, woman and to a lesser extent, child, must make up their own mind.

Conclusion

To conclude suicide must not be allowed to get in the way of the bigger question: why are we here? Putting this aside its of great importance. It replenishes the self, applauds greatness and always chips in.

Just got through watching The new ep, I now realise that Celestia was just a troll all along, I'm guessing Luna is going to be the one cleaning it all up. It wasn't the best episode so far the song got me really excited but then my excitment kinda dropped off towards the end. Although evil Fluttershy was fairly good but the Spike doughnut scene was easily the best in the episode.

Pretty much a mid-tier episode if you ask me.

The last one kinda gives insight on the plot of the first two episodes. Celestia banished Nightmare Moon but regretted her decision. She couldn't recharge the elements of harmony herself because her powers were now accounted for in keeping night and day balanced. She also couldn't make any friends because she is royalty. Even if she made some she would always be catered to and they would never be true friends as needed by the spell. Only when she witnessed Twilight's awakening of her power when she was little did Celestia realize there was a pony who could not only have the chance to repair the elements but also to one day bear her responsibility as ruler.

I wish I could tell you that Spike fought the good fight, and the ponys let him be. I wish I could tell you that - but equestria is no fairy-tale world. He never said who did it, but we all knew. Things went on like that for awhile - equestria consists of routine, and then more routine. Every so often, Spike would show up with fresh bruises. The ponys kept at him - sometimes he was able to fight 'em off, sometimes not. And that's how it went for Spike - that was his routine. I still read fanfiction, but I'm mostly left disappointed. I like reading not only just for the plots and characters. but for the writing style. It makes it all that more interesting if the story is written very well. The plot could be absolute bullshit but I'll still find enjoyment in it if it is written lively and interesting. Now I'm not asking every fanfiction author to be Charles Dickens. but most of the writting is very boring. I find myself skipping entire paragraphs and only focusing on conversations. And yet I still know exactly what happened. If some one could point me to a very very nicely written story I'd gladly read it. Even if it's about Rainbow Dash being slaughter or some bullshit like that. I like the writer putting their personal touch into every sentence.

I think the main problem with the current system is that if I want to find, say, all fics focusing on Twilight and Rainbow Dash, not shipping, and rated above 3 stars, it just can't be done. You can search on *one* tag, which is absolutely not enough. Some additions to the system, as well as a half decent search, would go a long way, but you also need to be able to sort it, and reverse chronological order just isn't good enough. You could certainly *make* the blog format work, but it'd be much easier to use something else.
