Well, for pegasi, the simplest explanation is that pegasi magic is a mass reducing field. This basically lets them do whatever the fuck they want, including carrying things, putting the above 2000g turns, clearing a square kilometer of cloud in 10 seconds flat, whatever. It's not a hugely complex explanation, but it doesn't need to be. It also fits in to my other theory of magic (Which has far less backing in the show, and more me trying to see if my favourite style of magic can fit in), in that everybody is born with a certain magical affinity, and everything from then on is learning to use it more precisely.

I mean, I could have just left it with "It's cartoon logic, who gives a shit", but then I'd have had to spend travel time listening to the radio or something, and that's never fun.

Still, it highlights the reasons why I consider Cutie Mark Chronicles to be the worst episode so far; it pretty much just ignores everything that had been said all season. The bullies look older than dash, so you're probably right, but equally it's "summer flight camp", not school - they're unlikely to be in the same class at all.

I don't see the egg as an oversight so much as Spike could not reasonably know what colour his egg was from the, at best, 10 seconds he had to look at it as a newborn baby.

Neither of the bullies were in any state to notice a sonic rainboom, and they're also all dicks. Sad as it is, that's a pretty common bully tactic, to try and convince somebody they can't do something they can actually do.

She was by FAR my least favorite for a long time. I started to come around at the Appleoosa episode (where we establish that Pinkie can, in fact, be wrong; this was a major peeve of mine, having her always be right), and she rocketed up to #3 overall with Party of One (where she was shown to have some of the same flaws and character defects that make the other characters so likeable). Okay, more serious reply. I understand the hate for Show Stoppers. Some people don't like Applebloom Sweetie Belle, and Scoots taking time from their precious waifu These people also happen to like being wrong. I get where they're coming from.

But the fact of the matter is that not everyone feels that way. If you happen to like, to some extent, the crusaders, then the episode is good. The climax is rather funny, but then again, I've always had a soft spot for the so-bad-it's-good sort of entertainment, which is exactly what that episode is about.

Call of Cutie? What does it have? I think we can almost universally agree, no matter who you like, that the episode was low tier. Plot was average, jokes were less creative and present, Silver Spoon and Tiara were the blandest ponies I'd ever seen. Gilda and Trixie are vastly superior, notice how they have fans. (I hated Twist, too, but that's beside the point. Some like her).

That's why CoC is the worst episode. I think if there was a rating for how good or bad an episode was, CoC would get the least amount of points overall, thus worse.
