 Fluttershy's shyness makes it very difficult, nay impossible for her to really conect with people/ponys. Were it not for the animals she takes care of all the time she'd probably have a pinkie pie level breakdown, but no snap recovery. She was expecting the animals in the royal garden to provide the real loving bond that she's unable to make with others. Come to think about it this was probably caused by a tramatic event when she was very small. Any who, when the garden animals didnt provied a real feeling of being loved, but actually ran away from her, she became increasingly desprate and psycotic. I'm regreting already voicing this thought, because someone's gonna flesh it out, but it seems like Fluttershy had an abusive father. I'd venture a guess that he was in the wonderbolts, had a drinking problem, and was very upset with his poor flyer of a daughter. He was probably kicked out as the times moved on and that sort of thing became very unaceptable. Adn hear I thought I wasn't the type to compleatly over analize a childs cartoon. |
