Hey, just an update on the folder. I found two programs that are helping me along nicely, ones a dup finder, and a massive multi DLer. However, I want to wait until all the episodes in glorious 1080p, every song from Season 1, all remixes of said songs (Euro Beat, 8 Bit, ect) more fan made videos, and a few dozen more threads to make this folder the best. That said, I need a bit more help in regards to the episodes.

What's the better file type for the episodes, AVI or MP4, and is there a free converter program I could use?
What other file type other than either AVI or MP4 is a must, like for iPods or other devises?

This episode makes this collection of accusations pretty relevant.

I think what got Fluttershy was that she spent - who knows - maybe years building the gala up in her mind. She had this perception of what things would be like, but it quickly failed to meet expectations. For one thing is was night, and the animals were probably not in the mood for being furry and cute so much as they were being rudely awoken. When the animals continually tried to get away from her, maybe not even so much from fear as just a desire to be left alone, Fluttershy tried harder and harder to make the night work the way she anticipated, and then she snapped.

Am I the only one who actually liked AJ in this episode? I mean, Fluttershy, Rainbow and Rarity obviously outshone her, but Twilight did basically nothing and Pinkie was, sad to say, just annoying. Applejack was the only pony in this episode to actually attempt to do something constructive instead of just being a crazy broad. When Rarity was being treated like shit by the Prince, she stepped in and did the right thing. (RarityxApplejack OTP 4ever) And when her apples weren't selling, she didn't go on some jealous rampage against the buffet or anything, she realized what the problem was, and thought of a way to use her creative skills to meet her goal. When she brought in the cake my respect for her shot up higher than it has in any previous episode. Instead of trying to force her apples on ponies, she realized that she needed to cater to a higher-class audience and used those apples to create something worthy of notice. If Pinkie wasn't a complete spaz, that probably would have been the only plan to go right for the entire night.

Seriously though, when is Rarity going to realize that Applejack is the perfect man for her? Confound these ponies, they drive me to ship.

What I like about Applejack is that she's the only member of the main cast that is already a badass. The other characters CAN be badass, but you have to build them up. Even Rainbow Dash has too much bluster and too little bravado. Applejack has the steely glare and grim-faced determination to be a bad motherfucker.

I think they were still on mouse levels of intelligence.

I thought that whole scene, however, was an awesome gag that was aimed squarely at an older audience. The implications of sentience and the existence of horses in this universe is something that would go right over a child's head, but without needing any words, just the reactions of the ponies themselves, it spoke volumes.
