I had an idea for a future fanfic I would like to work on.

Trixie, still angry and vengeful from being humiliated back at Ponyville by Twilight Sparkle, comes across a powerful and mystic gem, guarded by a Black Dragon. The dragon offers the magician the gem inexchange for some "trivial" things from Trixie.

The gem grants Trixie immense and terrible power, now proclaiming herself "The Almighty and Omnipotent Trixie", overthrows Princess Celestia and captures Twilight Sparkle and her friends in hopes of humiliating her and exacting her revenge. After putting the mane ponies through a series of humiliating circumstances and events, stripping them of their abilities, Trixie prepares to denounce Twilight and her friends forever-after, until she is interrupted by the dragon she had the deal with.

Apparently, the Black Dragon wants more than "Trivial" things; he wants ALL of Equestria. After a fierce battle, Trixie is defeated and about to be killed, when Twilight Sparkle and her friends (after regaining their power) fight-off and defeat the dragon. Humiliated and utterly defeated, Trixie readily accepts any punishment that Princess Celestia (who had returned after the dragon's defeat) gives out, though Twilight merely suggests she do some community service, in hopes to change her for the better.
