Fuck this gray earth. If we are to be stuck on a planet with murder and greed, racial attacks and religious wars, then I think we should go about our lives with both middle fingers up. Look at these people! They behead each other, they mutilate childrens genitals, they kill animals for pleasure. We spend our days walking among them, unable to tell them from 'regular' human beings, and rightly so. We are all so capable of the kind of terror that we immediately assume from this earth that its not even funny. We are one broken synapse, one seemingly meaningless event away from doing something that would earn us the shame and loathing we would so rightly deserve. But still we fight it, we fight the urges with out soul and our hearts so we can remain a part of society and all her cold distant commutes, her city buses, her towe blocks and offices. Every day, battling with the darkness, while living in the steel and glass cages we assign ourselves. We wonder why we're so lonely, we have not ime for others! Balancing the mundanity with the starkly contrasting decay that we so wish to expel onto everything, just as a release, leaves us little time for friends. And thats what we are, bubbling, frothing creatures, celebrating the death of a murderer, watched through cameras, caught on this gray earth to live, then die.
