05/01/11(Sun)20:45 No.25563815>>25563798 But, it was cake. She hadn’t had cake, or sweets, or cream or anything for years. All a bunch of frilly vegetable art galleries for dinner. It did work, she was slimmer and trimmer than ever, and she was able to adapt well. But sweets just hadn’t factored into it. She’d grown apprehensive, it was all about the figure, the presentation.
“Well, you gonna take it or not, sugar? My arm’s getting tired.” Applejack shook back to reality and grabbed it. “See? Told you it wasn’t gonna bite. Try it.” Applejack stared at the cake, then back at the filly, a look of confusion and amusement at the young orange pony who was treating a piece of cake like some explosive concoction. Applejack stared for a few seconds, closed her eyes, and nipped a small part off.
Applejack’s eyes shot open as her face grew bright red, the melting sliver of cake dancing on her tongue like a fireworks display of flavor. She savored the small pool of sugary bliss as it slid down her throat. She was in shock. It was beyond delicious, the cake was indescribable. She quickly gobbled down the rest, gasping and slightly moaning in sensory bliss.
The filly giggled at Applejack’s reaction, as she jolted back to reality, blushing a bright red at her own embarassment“Well, I guess you like it. Want to buy some? It’s two boxes for a ten.” Applejack thought for a second, then agreed, noting that Uncle Orange wouldn’t notice another ten on the bill, not knowing how much groceries cost anyway. She headed on down, nervous about her reaction. Then it hit her. No one in the store knew who she was. This pony was someone else, someone without the glitz and glamour, not bound by some sort of standard set by the latest gossip articles. She could buy what ever she wanted, and no one would bat an eye.
It was then that Applejack passed by the condiments section, and saw the large bottle of chocolate syrup on the shelf. |
