A good point. A grammatical mistake on my behalf. But if we are to consider that there are a lot of myological creatures (such as hydras and even unicorns), we could take into fact that Griffons were considered very fast and powerful. The ponies don't seem to be very violent, so they could give them (the girffons) pigs to aviod unwanted tension between the two civilisations.

But I digress. Perhaps "A way of peace" wasn't the choice phrase. Something like "using the pigs in terms of trading with the Griffons" would be a more reasonable input to the whole thing. Regardless of this whole thing, the speculation that the ponies raising pigs are related to Griffons seems to be a quite popular fan theory and thus results in a shitton of different theories that no-one seems to agree on.

dragons seem fairly self-sufficient from birth, and if I had to guess in equestria (and in general) most dragons don't make for good parents after their young are hatched. They are based after lizards, after all, a group of animals which aren't exactly known for their nurturing behavior. Mine totally differs from yours: I saw that Celestia was the one who wasn't affected by Twi's crazy powers (but everyone else nearby was) because she can hold it back easily (not a big deal for a god who rises the sun). And she calmed her energy flow down, like she knew what she was doing.

Twi, may be, the most skilled in magic unicorn so far, but she not match to the Sisters. She will die eventually, as many other unicorns within all those 1000 years. But Sisters will continue to maintain order and balance in Equestria. And I'm fucking ok with that. Because it's awesome.

Even consider the fact Sisters was called as unicorns, they aren't actually. But that's not the point, point is: you didn't watch the show carefully enough. There is few scenes where Sisters use their magic without make horn glow. First, NMM, when she casts Eternal Night or Bolt spell. Second, Celestia, when she appears from the rising un in the end of ep02. Twi didn't use horn as well while casting that Element's spell.

Also, Lauren said ALL poneis posses magic, but not all of them can directly control it. Like pegasi, they can walk on clouds, etc. Celestia is a goddess, some things she do just naturally, especially if we accept the fact she IS the Maker.

MLPs threads have shown to be exceptions when it comes to overall friendliness. They've shown to be more good-natured than other /co/-related threads. But when MLP threads show 4chan's inclination toward randomness and trolling, they're considered to be the death of the fandom.
