How would the individual ponies treat firearms?
Twilight would probably have read a bunch of books on weapons safety and such, and would probably adhere to handling rules strictly. Very strictly. Despite never having even so much as seen one before.
Fluttershy would probably shun them, considering them too dangerous for her to handle.
Applejack would, as a farmer, likely have prior experience with guns in real life, and would treat them with a degree of respect, but make relatively minor safety slipups due to being overly-familiar and complacent.
Rarity would probably go nowhere near them... Until she figured out that certain guns came in designer colours (for instance see pic), and could provide her with a method of self-defence other than incessant whining while gem-hunting or such.
Rainbow Dash would probably treat them with total disrespect and only value their "awesomeness", but would quickly learn to treat them with respect after a stern lecture and/or a near miss. After that, she'd probably follow most of the safety rules, but still consider weapons "awesome" (while still respecting the fact that they are potentially-dangerous things that should be treated with due care).
Pinkie Pie would probably treat them like goddamn toys. Which would have disastrous results.
Of course, this is all disregarding the fact that the ponies lack the physical dexterity required to operate a firearm in the first place. |
