I'm guessing maybe? The picture on the cart his egg was on showed a dragon without wings, and if something is going to end up with wings they usually are born with them in some form, even if its a non-functional one. Insects are the only things I can think of that change their limb layouts later on to add new parts.

...Then again Spike could get wrapped up in rainbow sparkle magic and sprout some wing buds in a few years, so it's really hard to tell. Rampant magic tends to break rules all over the place.

Lemonpeel: She took down many members of the Lemon clan in order to become head of the ranch through deceit and sheer dishonesty. Even her Discord sisters don't know if she's telling them the truth. Her little sister and older brother are forces who should not be dealt with.

Blues Brush: Always sad, always scared, always in despair. She seems to care for her allies, but they know it's only herself she's looking out for when things get dangerous. Her tears can fill up a room in a matter of seconds and her tales of sorrow can send the happiest pony off the edge of a cliff.

Rainbow Brash: Don't let the name fool you, this selfish coward would use her friends as a meatshield as soon as trouble arises. Always says she'll be the first to go into a conflict, yet she actually stands back and lets the true monsters like Flutterdye and Twilight Doom do the work. One time Doom sneezed and Brash shouted "OUR LEADER HAS FALLEN! I SHALL NOW TAKE UP LEADERSHIP!"

Vanity: Expect her to do something for you? If your worth her time maybe she'll help out, otherwise consider yourself in a world of pain for wasting her time. No matter how horrible her "dresses" are, never utter a word of criticism; the last pony had his eyes and mouth sewn shut.

Flutterdye: the most dangerous pony out of all of them. Her cruelty knows bounds, having almost destroyed all wildlife in Equestria right after Supreme Nightmare Moon took the throne. A bloodthirsty, loud, lustful, conniving creature, she is not shy to murder someone so that she and her Discord sisters can stay comfortable.

Spike could always try NOT being a raging douchebag for like 5 minutes.

The 'pre-reader' system is a bad joke

Spike didn't NEED to interact with the other ponies. We've seen plenty of that. What we needed to see was an exploration of his relationship with Twilight Sparkle, which is by far the most interesting relationship he has.

The episode kind of skimped on it, but we did get hints of it. And it was pretty heartwarming hearing them both talk about, not just friendship, but love- Twilight mentioned that Spike's jealousy wasn't "the Spike she knew and loved," and Spike took this to mean "she doesn't love me any more."

I get the sense that they have a very complicated, but really close relationship, a combination of mentor/student, brother/sister, and a little bit of mother/son.

Well there are descriptions for them so the names might not be of that much importance. All that's left is for four more of the ponies to be drawn, Twilight and Flutters were made. I imagine them to be like this:

Rainbow Brash with a more casual version of the Wonderbolt's uniform, except with G1 Starscream's colors and a Decepticon or Starscream face cutie mark (wouldn't it be nasty/ugly mark?)

Blues Brush is just Pinkie Pie but with a sad expression the entire time, and more bangs instead of the one lock of hair she has over her face. Her nasty mark would be a frowning face with a blue tipped paint brush drawing a tear on the eye.

Lemonpeel wears an overcoat instead of a cowboy hat and wears a sheriff's badge. Maybe smokes a cigar? Nasty mark is a lemon skin.

Vanity would have some horrible fashion choices and looks like a mess with too much makeup. Always tries to wear the most expensive things to look nice but can never get any real beautiful clothes and is horrible at designing. Nasty mark would be a dollar sign.

Flutterdye could probably be changed into somepony that always has blood on her, but she's the opposite of Fluttershy in that she's very outward, angry and instead of getting frustrated when pissed, she just calmly kills shit. Nasty mark is a skull, Guts' face from Berserk for hilarity.

Twilight Doom's already done, a brain with a magic wand imposed on a sparkle would be her cutey mark. Just one little thing, maybe an eyepatch for when she takes her mask off, or just shorter hair.

Tried playing around with the lighten filter, and that seemed to have done the trick.
First of all, this image started with the lines in black on their own layers, and the colors on separate layers beneath them.
I put a new layer on top of everything, set style to Lighten and dumped the entire layer with the main line color, which replaces all the black. This would be okay if you only have one color to change, and none of the other colors you were using are darker than the new lines, but I had to add different colors to her legs and wings.
So just grab a brush tool and fill in the areas you need a different color.
To erase unwanted areas, I turned off all layers but the lines and background, wand tool'd the white, then deleted that area from the Lighten layer we made at the start.

It's not exactly how I'd like it, but it did the job in two minutes flat.

I've successfully pushed some ships. PokeyPie is my current little pet ship. It's not universally beloved but it definitely has some strong followers.

I tend to like ships that rub a lot of people the wrong way though, like AppleMac and CakeSnails (Mrs. that is). So I've made peace with the fact that some of them don't have a chance at true mass acceptance.

If you look at the picture 3 posts above yours, you can clearly see that Celestia has a completely different face than TS, with a longer nose, face, and a much sharper chin. A dark room in what appears to be an ancient keep. The walls and floor are covered in a thick layer of dust. Books are stacked about on the bare stone, many not touched for decades. The only way in or out is a heavy oak double door, engraved with assorted runes.

As these doors swing open, a quiet creak fills the room. A book floats through the door, its heavy leather binds wrapped in dark magical energies. A single pony steps in behind the book.
