So what about Luna? In the last thread someone mentioned she'd more than likely be bitter/resentful when she finally reappears. I still like the idea that, partially to strike a blow against her sister, she befriends Twilight, and then proceeds to push her into more and more dangerous situations. She uses somewhat underhanded tactics to tempt twilight, and hides behind that friendship to further pull Twilight towards Luna's ideals/corrupt her. I like the idea that Twilight starts to learn magic from Luna, but her methods of teaching push Twilight into another magical overload. Without Celestia to help her control it again, it causes great destruction, maybe even going so far as to punch a hole in the moon

Granted, this is all speculation, but It could be a good lesson..blah blah peer pressure and all that educational jazz...more or less there's an actual lesson to learn from it.
