I really enjoyed and appreciated the animation work in the last episode, particularly when Twilight and Spike were getting emotional. The brief pauses, the expressions, the eyes, and (animation aside) the voice were all very softening and melted my heart. It might've been a reasonably generic plot but they really sold it with the way it was told.

I know they must use cheap flash animation and everything but they put such good effort behind it that it's no hindrance.

I forget what fic it was, but someone had an idea in a fic where Trixie intentionally acts like a dick and makes the town hate her, then the next day the town will get their most powerful unicorn to challenge her. She pretends to lose, then apologizes to everyone and cries in remorse, telling them all what a hard life she's had. They all feel bad for her and give her lots of tips.

Well, it wouldn't be entirely out of the question for her to have a bit of an ego. She does go up on stage for a living, show off wonderful magic all day every day, and then get paid in money and praise by large adoring crowds for being so awesome. She does think quite highly of herself.

The problems come up when the moral of the episode was 'lying is bad', and the lying in question was just Trixie's job as an performer. Ponies will come from miles around to see the Great and Powerful Trixie put on a show. Not so much for the 'humble but slightly-better than average' Trixie.

Well, my story, bronies...

I was a regular lurker and an occasional poster on gurochan, and a rare peeping tom in /b/.

As you would suspect, a sick fuck like me was looking for "lulz poni porn" and other trolling exploitables for some reason. Then I saw a picture of... maybe Twilight? And I thought, what the hell... So I kept browsing, and there was another in the same style, then a title screencap. I looked at the link and it sent me to /b/ where I soon found out that it originates from /co/.
Now I'm a daily regular here, and I barely peek up on gurochan. I have also made a good deal of reaction images and three fics since I became interested. (two on GoogleDocs and one in .jpg format). And finally, today I've made my first ever MLP FiM related song. And I'm also interested in making some sort of twisted flash game, if somepony would aid me with graphics and a mane concept.

My favorite scenario: Sweetie Belle is looking for someone to teach her magic just as Trixie is coming back into town. She ends up asking Trixie to be her mentor.

Twilight tries to convince Sweetie that Trixie is just an egomaniac who doesn't care about her, but in the end, it turns out that while Trixie is still a big show-off, deep down she has changed and really cares about Sweetie Belle, and Sweetie has learned some good basics from her. Twilight realizes she was the jerk this time and everyone learns a lesson about second chances.

Also, the other CMC don't even appear because Sweetie deserves her own episode.

Only reason I like 4 is because it really is something that would be shown on tv.

- a character who was a bitch learns how to be nice
- one-shot popular character only comes back once only to better from it and become likable
- brings back an event that makes sense to put in the show, i.e. the Ursa Minor conflict except this time bringing an Ursa Major at the end
- Twilight learning not to judge others despite previous actions.
