I figure there's only one explanation: the owl was Pinkie Pie's pet. Some time after last episode:
Spike gets Rarity to find some gems to repay the green dragon.
Taken aback by her generosity and beauty, green dragon offers Rarity one of his personal treasures.
Green dragon and Rarity becomes best of friends.
Spike gets sidelined worse than he did with the owl.

I don't mind the CMC at all. I think they're cute. I liked their crappy eighties performance with a bad choice for the vocalist.

Just try to take them less seriously and thing of them like the adults in the show probably do. They'll get their cutie marks eventually, but for now it's fine for the Crusaders to just to be out and about, out of the hair of Applejack, Rarity, and Dash when they need to do their own things. If they were real little girls all their escapades would be great memories for them.

I'd kill to have a zipline when I was a kid. Man, I was just excited to ride a wagon down a steep hill when I was that age. My friend dislocated his thumb after one of the crashes, and that is still a fond memory for me.

sup guys I finished that rainbow dash plushie I was working on yesterday. Definitely see some parts where I'm going to need to fix the pattern, the head and wings especially, but for the first plush I've ever made I don't it turned out too badly, and future ones can only get better.

Making things is no problem, it's the selling I'm not terribly good with and I don't know what to ask for one of these. What would you pay/say is a fair price for it? Yeah, the whole face is kind of... off because the head shape didn't end up quite large or round enough, so I just did whatever made it look best looking at it from a profile. you may want to think about adding the "nape" it's the top of the head, and sort of figure 8 shaped... with the ears at the narrow part and the face on one circle and the back of the head on the other.
