There's a certain level of quick paced in the narration as well as detail. If you have to much detail, people read too much and forget it's a fight scene. Too little and they won't be able to imagine the battle as vividly.
Most readers will fill in a characters' actions themselves if they're immersed enough, which can either help or hurt your overall process.
It's all about IMAGINATION!
