Trixie is extremely hard to ship believably with anyone because she's so damn vain and egotistical. Trixie hates nearly all of the main cast members and never met the others. She gave a small acknowledgment to Twilight before belittling her, but coming from Trixie, that's probably the best compliment you could hope to get.

Yeah, it is a lot of fun to think of the relationship like that. That is usually how it is too in most pictures I see. Trixie's love/hate relationship with Twilight and Twilight being oblivious to it. It depends on who is illustrating them together.
