Okay so, I dunno if anyone remembers me posting yesterday, but I'm the one that's been thinking about combining Super Sentai and Kamen Rider with ponies. I don't know how many of you guys like that /m/ stuff, but I'm a big fan. However, I don't want to post it on /m/ because I know they'll just flip a shit and piss blood.

So, I've actually come up with a whole henshin sequence and roll call for the mane ponies, as power ranger-esque super heroes, and morphers for them and everything, plus an idea for Derpy Hooves as a Kamen Rider. It's times like this I feel like the world's biggest nerd, but I'm having fun so whatever. I'm going to post my ideas, if no one minds.

Because of the whole magical theme of the show, inspiration for this largely came from Magiranger, and even a little Goseiger depsite hwo badly Goseiger sucked. I'm thinking they have wrist morphers, or I guess in this case it would be around their hooves? Either way, the morpher is shaped like a bracelet version of their Element of Harmony necklaces from the pilot episodes, and they press they cutie mark shaped button to henshin. They call out their element of harmony (in Japanese of course) while changing, then say their roll call phrase.

Instead of a Super Sentai/Power Ranger, Derpy is a Kamen Rider. Kamen Rider IXA was my main inspiration for this one, arguably the only good thing to come out of Kamen Rider Kiva Codenamed Kamen Riderp, officially known as Kamen Rider EYES. Derpy's henshin belt is shaped like a fork at the buckle/locking device, and has a circular space to connect the actual henshin device. To henshin, she goes through her mail bag and pulls out a mechanical muffin, then says "henshin" (or "muffins") while twisting the muffin top, then sets it into the belt to trigger the henshin.

This one I've thought out in some detail. The main feature of the suit is that the eyes on the helmet are like dials, and turning them to different points activates different powers or attacks. Basically, different derpy eyes equals cool stuff happens. To turn the eye dials, she opens and closes the fork on the henshin belt, like flipping a switch, and the eyes spin. It's almost always random, but she has some control over it.

Attack ideas
Eyes at 2 and 8 o'clock=Bubbles Burst: Derpy fires explosive bubbles from her helmet eyes.
Eyes at 12 and 6=Machinegun Post: A gun shaped like a mailbox appears, that fires letters.
Eyes at 9 and 3 (cross eyed)=Express Mail: Derpy moves at hyper speed, similar to Kabuto's Clock Up ability
Eyes at 3 and 9(Full Derp)=Special Delivery Rider Kick: Derpy's flying signature Rider Kick, a powerful finishing move.
