 So after streaming Princess Bride in the last thread, I felt compelled to write this out.
Tonight, the role of the Man in Black will be played by Rainbow Dash, Vizzini will be played by Trixie.
"Inhale this, but not touch."
"I smell nothing."
"What you do not smell is powdered posion joak. It is odorless, tasteless, dissolves instantly in liquid, and is among the more silly magic flowers."
Dash takes the wine glasses behind her back, and discreetly administers the poison joak. Calmy she sets them back on the table, even playing them around each other a bit, to which Trixie chuckles.
"Alright, where is the poison? The battle of wits has begun. It ends when you decide, and we both drink. And we find out who is right, and who is pranked."
"But it's so simple. All I have to do is devine from what I know of you- Are you the sort of pony who would put the poison into her own goblet, or his enemy's? Now, a clever pony would put the poison into his own goblet, because she would know only a great fool would reach for what she is given. I am not a great fool, so I can clearly not choose the wine in front of you. But you must have known I was not a great fool, you would have counted on it, so I can clearly not choose the wine in front of me."
"You've made your decision then?"
"Not remotely! Because poison joak comes from Ponyville, as everyone knows, and Ponyville is entirely peopled with pranksters, and pranksters are used to having people not trust them, as you are not trusted by me so I can clearly not choose the wine in front of you.
"Truly, you have a dizzying intellect."
