Expanding Princess Bride idea from the last thread:
Fezzik is clearly big Mac: strong, heart of gold, doesn't talk much, etc.
Inigo would be Applejack: She's got a strong sense of family, I can see her flipping out and spending a decade or two doing nothing but trying to track down her father's murderer.
Vizzini is Trixie, utterly full of herself and too clever by half.
Wesley is Dash, because both of them are defined primarily by how incredibly awesome they are.
The six-fingered man is Gilda. They both just want people to suffer.
The Prince is Celestia. Everyone thinks they're kind and generous, but in reality they're both ruthless dictators and amoral chessmasters.
Buttercup is Fluttershy, since both are pretty passive and 'go with the flow' types (who actually have strong, relevant opinions, but aren't always good at expressing them).
Miracle Max is Zecora,
The Albino is Bon-bon (the post-tracheotomy one from Call of the Cutie),
The R.O.U.S. is an Ursa Minor,
The Bishop is Mayor Mare,
The old King is Granny Smith,
The shrieking eel is that kracken from Show Stoppers,
...Damn, I think that's all the characters.
