That's it. I'm sick of all this "Masterwork Pegasus" bullshit that's going on in the d20 system right now. The Wonderbolts deserve much better than that. Much, much better than that. I should know what I'm talking about. I myself commissioned a genuine Wonderbolt show in Equestria for 2,400,000 bits (that's about 20,000 american dollars) and have been watching it for almost 2 years now. I can even see Sonic Rainbooms at my show. Equestrian parents spend years working on a single Wonderbolt and fold their wings up to a million times to produce the finest pegasus ponies known to ponykind.
The Wonderbolts are thrice as sharp as regular pegasi and thrice as fast for that matter too. Anything a pegasus can fly through, a Wonderbolt can fly through better. I'm pretty sure a Wonderbolt could easily bisect a pegasus wearing rainbow plate with a simple vertical kick. Ever wonder why Griffonland never bothered conquering Equestria? That's right, they were too scared to fight the disciplined Wonderbolts and their hooves of destruction. Even in the Second Dragon War, reptilian soldiers targeted the Wonderbolts first because their killing power was feared and respected. So what am I saying? The Wonderbolts are simply the best ponies that the world has ever seen, and thus, require better stats in the d20 system. Here is the stat block I propose for the Wonderbolts: (Exotic Small Animal) Str 25, Dex 25, Con 25, Int 25, Wis 25, Cha 25 Counts as Masterwork
(Exotic Small Mount) Str 25, Dex 25, Con 25, Int 25, Wis 25, Cha 25 Counts as Masterwork
Now that seems a lot more representative of the flying power of the Wonderbolts in real life, don't you think? tl;dr = Wonderbolts need to be about 20% cooler in d20, see my new stat block. |
