Alright, so, I know we've had discussion like this before, but what if the show introduced a re-occurring antagonist? What do you guys think it'd be like? Are we talking some cosmic horror or evil overlord type, or perhaps something more mundane and antagonistic on a social level but not really threatening (like, say, if Trixie came back and all she did was try to fuck up the main cast's shit)?

I'm not sure what would work for the former type, but I would hope it wasn't just some pussy-shit dumbass villian kids shows are wont to have. I would want a legitimate threat. I mean he doesn't have to be eviscerating people but I want to see this guy and think, "Wow, he's serious," rather than, "C'mon, even I could kick this dude's ass". What would it be? What would its motives be?

I'm still hoping for a balrog...or maybe something more, a thematic antagonist if you will?

I think it's hilarious that Pinkie's songs are, for the most part, grating on the ears. Hasbro could have easily just turned her into a Disney princess and sing ultra sweet and sugary songs that would make your balls shrivel. I'm working in GIMP since I don't have photoshop. My main problem I find at the moment is looking where I am drawing on the tablet in relation to the screen (making it awkward to try and draw a circle, straight line). Its hard if I pick up my pen, to continue at the same point I ended at.

Pretty much my lines turn out wobbly. I use a Bamboo Pen and Touch if that helps

Next step is to get Open Canvas 1.1 and a bunch of friends together, and go crazy with some networked drawing! it's a great tool to learn sketching inking and painting all at once, with a bunch of others.

Ofcourse, I am biased as all hell, since it's the program i've been using for years. I feel that the lines have enough weight to them that you can get the feel of a tablet much easier if you start out there.

I just found out something i wish i hadn't.
