Well how 'bout we actually brainstorm some plausible episodes that could reintroduce those characters--plot, setting, moral at the end, the whole shebang.
Like, say, if Gilda showed back up. Like maybe Dash and some peoples go visit Cloudsdale again and they bump into Gilda who's hanging around some new people. Gilda and Dash are still pissed off at one another (or maybe just one is still pissed at the other, let's say Dash is still angry). However Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy have gotten over the whole ordeal and they and Twilight try to get the two of them to at least stop taking potshots at one another. Then...I dunno, SOMETHING happens (I cannot think of what at the moment) that forces Gilda and Dash to stop bitching at each other for 5 seconds, shit happens, Pinkie Pie does ridiculously funny shit, and the episode ends with Gilda and Dash agreeing to stop hating each other, with the moral being that grudges are ultimately fruitless and if one friend tries to patch things up you should try as well. Maybe something like that, eh?
