Applejack: Everypony respects her, because she's the loyalest, most dependable of ponies, always willing to give a helping hoof. She and Rarity cannot stand each other. Conversely, she and Rainbow Dash have known each other since forever and are annoying best buds.
Fluttershy is a bit of a loner - she knows Applejack because she helps out with animals, and Rarity because she really likes dresses.
Pinkie Pie knows everypony, but she isn't really friends with any of them - Applejack is one of the few ponies who don't mind her hyperactivity, but most of the town agree that she's nice in small doses, but very, very tiring in the long run.
Everypony looks up to Rainbow Dash, pardon the pun, because she's amazing, but nopony really likes her - she's abrasive, arrogant and prone to boasting. That's fine with her, though, since she doesn't really think all those dweebs are worth her time. Applejack is an exception, because she's a worthy rival.
Rarity has many aquaintances, but few friends - she and Fluttershy hang out, but aside from her, the ponies of Ponyville think of her as that nice mare with the fabulous dresses. Except for Applejack and Dash, who think she's stuck-up and kinda boring, respectively. |
